Understanding the benefits of an arts education is important. Using the tools gained from an arts education is vital. Research shows that students who engage in an education in the arts are more likely to experience academic achievement and become adaptable, creative, and unique individuals. Such students tend to exhibit college readiness, career preparedness and utilize skills learned in the arts to be viable assets to the communities in which they live.
